DISCLAIMER Sorry that modern society makes this page necessary. Regrettably, I have to have one. I believe that the "consult your physician" clause you always see in exercise books is an impediment to getting started for a lot of people. I am going to go ahead and say here that you need to do that...just to cover myself; but I know you don't need me to baby-sit you. Only you are responsible for you. You know if you have some reason to be cautious about starting an exercise plan. If that's true for you, then, by all means, consult a physician first. I will always warn you when one of my programs is meant only for the highly conditioned, and I will always spell out what prerequisite work is necessary for any exercise. If you choose to undertake any workout or exercise I recommend to you, only you are responsible for that decision. Having said that (**sigh**) here it is: "Beginning an exercise program is potentially stressful and hazardous. Injury or death can occur as a direct result of physical exercise. Consult your physician before beginning any new exercise plan." Okay, now that that's out of the way, can we go on to something useful? Good.
