Rodney

Rodney is a retired Air Force Lt. Colonel Flight Instructor and retired Delta Air Lines Captain

He's got more hours in the air than most Space Shuttle pilots, and now he instructs out of my home airport in his Cessna 150. I had met him when he bought it (c. 2003) and I got my Private license through him. This is still my main airplane and I fly it every time I get back home.

In addition to being a great instructor, he's also one of my favorite people. He typifies the aviation culture to me...precise, professional, eminently competent -  but fun and easy-going, with a love of life - all at the same time

He and his wonderful wife flew "Juliet" down for my wedding and that was a real treat.
