Mobile BaseCamp - The RV Pages

A true second home on wheels! My Motor Home - sorry to say - is now for sale. 1987 31 foot Fleetwood Bounder. Only 89K miles. Immaculately maintained by prior owner, a retiree who builds his own airplanes. Only driven on three long trips since I bought it (N. Carolina to Mississippi to Atlanta and back). Minor dent in back. By beloved Toyota not included :-)

Ain't she a beaut! That's my mobile BaseCamp. I have ALWAYS wanted one of these and I finally got one in December '05. I have a tow bar for my truck too (not the rented one in this picture), so I don't have to drive a bus to go to the store when I'm on a trip, or down a typical approach road to a climbing area (imagine Moore's Wall's "road" in this thing :-)

With an RV, you can wake up (nearly) anywhere you like and still be at home. Think of the extended climbing trips...or imagine cycling the West Coast as you and your friends take turns driving ahead and setting up advance camp (and the grill!) every day! "Camp" in comfort every night.

RV links and Resources for you Coming Soon!! In the mean time, more pix of mine.....
